Welcome — I’m Jeff Dobereiner, a space-nerd and strategy lead supporting NASA’s Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program. My work spans engineering strategy, technical analysis, and strategic planning for the future of space infrastructure.
I bring a multidisciplinary background in:
- 🚀 Space systems: with a specialization in communications, including a new amateur radio license (Technician-class, KD3BRE), and broadening in scope thanks to an in-progress MS at Florida Tech
- 📡 Science policy & communications: writing, strategic planning, and technical storytelling
- 🧪 Applied scientific research: PhD with extensive fieldwork, remote sensing, and laboratory experience
- 🎙️ Media production: Emmy-nominated work for PBS, NPR, and National Geographic
